Jamaica Funk

The hangovers from this weekend Distortion rave has unpleasently arrived, making this sunny sunday perfect to post some original jamaican 45' style.
This Soul Jazz compilation is packed with rare 70's stuff from the island of Jah. All very soulfull and sothing for both mind and spirit.

My recommendation is to get the whole thing here, put it on you're Ipod and take the sunny vibe all around town. And just to offer a little teaser, here's the top selection to bring down babylon - motown style.

This song is just awesome! The perfect mix of heartachin melodies, and smooth ragga rythms. Sampled by Ayatollah

This is a very cool funk/reggae version of the Temptation classic -

And one of the best tracks on this compilation, really suited for dancefloors is The Rebels - very groovy indeed!
